These Colors Don’t Run

I’m sure, from my recent posts, it’s clear to most that I do not have any respect for the Obama administration. Unfortunately, it is the words & actions of the current administration, whoever they may be at the time, which the rest of the world sees. Therefore, anything the aforementioned administration does or says impacts how the United States of America & its citizens are perceived as a whole.

I must say that, much to my own surprise, for one moment in time in the late evening of May 1st, 2011, I found myself impressed with President Obama. That moment was short-lived. Minutes after informing the American public that he’d had the resolve to order the strategic mission that resulted in the death of the monster that was Usama bin Laden, Obama & his administration began a chain of events that can only be described as strangely apologetic. That’s not resolve. That’s just disappointing & downright offensive to the brave military personnel that did such fine job of carrying out that mission.

That being said, I can neither ignore nor stomach the blatant death threats that were made against both President Obama & the citizens of the United States by radical Islamist, Anjem Choudary, while protesting at a rally against the death of Usama bin Laden in London, England on May 6th, 2011. Whether you or I, as American citizens, respect the current administration or not, we must remember that this is, first & foremost, our America! The preamble of the U.S. Constitution begins “We the People of the United States…” Regardless of the seemingly worldwide misconception that the current administration defines all that America is, we must remember that we, the People, ARE the United States!

I most certainly hope this video clip from a portion of the show, O’Reilly Factor (http://www.billoreilly.com), called “Confronting Evil” drives home the point to ALL Americans that we absolutely MUST defend our homes, our families, & ourselves from the evil plague that is terrorism by any means necessary.

Red, White, & Blue! Stand up, stand united,  stand proud! Remind the terrorists–These Colors Don’t Run!
